Every place has a story. Ours is rooted in land, lived experience, and the relationships that grow when people slow down and pay attention.
Experience Saghalie exists to host with intention. Not as a transaction, but as a practice shaped by care, responsibility, and respect for where we live. As a Métis-led venture, we approach hospitality as relationship first, guided by listening, learning, and sharing knowledge in ways that honour place and community.
This perspective informs everything we create: how our guests are welcomed, how dogs are cared for, and how we work with local regenerative businesses and farms.
our story
Growing up in Kamloops with Peterson Creek as my backyard playground, I spent as much time as possible barefoot and outdoors, climbing, exploring, camping, and fishing. I was happiest immersed in nature. After many years living on the West Coast, I returned home. Reconnecting with the land and trail systems re-centred how I live and what I value, including giving my dogs the space and movement they thrive in. That return quietly shaped what Experience Saghalie is today.
Nature is where I reset. It is where I listen and return to self.
